This Privacy Policy explains how PIGI.app collects, uses and protects information when you use the PIGI website, public analytical experience, account features and paid PIGI services.

If you create an account or purchase PIGI Private, we may process information such as:
Authentication credentials handled by an external authentication provider are processed according to that provider’s systems and policies.
PIGI Private setup information
To prepare PIGI Private, we may ask what you intend to use PIGI for, what types of material you expect to analyze and what you would like PIGI to help you notice.
We use this information to prepare and operate your PIGI experience.
We do not need your job title, company revenue, telephone number or other unrelated sales-profile information unless a future service specifically requires it.

Payment information
Payments for PIGI Private are processed by Stripe. If you choose Link at checkout, Link also processes information needed to provide its accelerated checkout service.
Stripe and Link may receive your name, email address, card or other payment-method details, billing country, billing details and transaction information. They process this information to complete payments, manage recurring billing, prevent fraud, issue receipts and meet legal obligations.
PIGI does not receive or store your complete payment-card number.

Where GDPR or equivalent legislation applies, processing will rely on an appropriate legal basis depending on the context, including performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent where required, or compliance with legal obligations.
PIGI uses artificial-intelligence and software infrastructure to analyze information supplied by users.
AI-generated analysis can be incomplete or incorrect.
PIGI should not be treated as the sole source of truth for legal, medical, financial, employment or other high-impact decisions.
Where a decision matters, verify relevant information against appropriate primary sources.
PIGI is designed to expose relationships in information.
It does not replace human judgment.
PIGI currently uses Chatbase as part of its conversational AI infrastructure.
When you interact with functionality provided through this infrastructure, information necessary to provide the service may be processed by Chatbase and its authorized subprocessors.
Depending on the features used, this may include conversation content, prompts, responses, attachments, contact information, session or conversation identifiers and interaction metadata.
Chatbase states that customer data is not used to train AI models.
Chatbase’s current Data Processing Addendum describes Chatbase as a processor of customer personal data, or as a subprocessor where its customer is itself acting as a processor.
Chatbase states that its primary processing operations take place in the United States.
For transfers of personal data protected by GDPR to jurisdictions without an adequacy decision, Chatbase states that it uses appropriate safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses.
Chatbase maintains its own privacy, data-processing and security documentation.
Because service-provider practices can change, users who require detailed information about Chatbase processing should consult the current Chatbase legal and privacy documentation.
PIGI may rely on third-party infrastructure required to operate the service, including providers for:
These providers may process information only to the extent necessary for their respective functions and subject to their applicable contractual and legal obligations.
We aim to minimize the number of providers receiving personal information.
Material providers currently include Chatbase for the conversational AI experience and Stripe, including Link where selected, for payment and subscription processing.
Some service providers used by PIGI may process information outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States.
Where GDPR applies and personal data is transferred to a country without an applicable adequacy decision, appropriate transfer safeguards should be used where required, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.
We do not intend to retain personal information indefinitely.

Where information is processed through Chatbase on our behalf, Chatbase’s current Data Processing Addendum states that Customer Personal Data is deleted within 30 days following a written deletion request from the customer or termination of the applicable agreement, subject to limited legal-retention exceptions.
Where technically and legally possible, information that is no longer required should be deleted or anonymized.
You retain responsibility for material you submit to PIGI.

If you submit personal data concerning another person, you are responsible for ensuring that your use of that information has an appropriate legal basis.
Do not use PIGI to unlawfully collect, expose or misuse private personal information.

However, cookies, local storage or similar technologies may be used where technically necessary for functions such as:
Third-party components embedded in or connected to PIGI may use their own technically necessary technologies.
If non-essential analytics, advertising or tracking technologies are introduced in the future, this policy and any required consent mechanism should be updated before those technologies are enabled.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the service to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or alteration.
No online service can guarantee absolute security.
